2025 – Scholarship Application

New Life UMC has a long history of awarding scholarships to students pursuing education beyond high school. The scholarship’s purpose is to recognize a student who believes in the importance of a strong Christian faith in their church, family and community, and to encourage continuing education. Special consideration is given to those who have shown involvement in their church and community through youth groups and organizations giving to the betterment of the spiritual, physical and mental well-being of those around us.

Applicants must be admitted or enrolled in an approved or accredited university, college, technical school or other high educational institution.

Scholarships will be awarded following the receipt of the first semester transcript showing a “C” or 2.0 GPA. Funds will be sent directly to the school attended by the student.

The scholarship application, along with personal statement and other required recommendations is typically due in early February.
