OUR KIDS Volunteer Opportunities

1. Wednesday Evening Bag Filling

• Set up tables in fellowship hall
• Fill bins with food
• Set up bins on tables
• Move classroom boxes from mission room to fellowship hall
• Assembly line for filling
• Put snack bins back in mission room
• Take down tables
• Move classroom boxes into kitchen or designated location
• Approx. time commitment: 1-2 hours

2.  Inventory            

• Count remaining food items
• Once/month before shopping trip
• Approx. time commitment: ½ hour

 3. Friday Morning Cheese/Carrot Fill

• Tear cheese sticks apart
• Put two string cheese pieces in each bag
• Put one bag of carrots in each bag
• Close bags and boxes to be ready for pick-up
• Must be done by 8:30 a.m.
• Approx. time commitment: ½ – 1 hour

 4. Friday Loading and Delivery

• Pick-up filled bags/boxes at church
• Load boxes into your vehicle and deliver to designated school between 8:30 and 10:30 a.m.
• Load boxes onto dolly and deliver to classrooms
• Approx. time commitment: 1 hour, 2x/month

**Must have a car and be able to drive

**Moderate lifting and stamina required

**2 people/needed per week – approx. 40 boxes total

**Will be trained on the job

 5. Pick-up Empty Bags

• Pick-up boxes from classrooms and load onto dolly
• Deliver empty boxes/bags to church
• Put classroom boxes in mission room
• Pick-up on Wednesday mornings between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m.
• Approx. time commitment: 1 hour, 2x/month

**Must have a car and be able to drive

**2 people/building
