As we are saved by God’s grace through Jesus Christ on the cross, leading a holy and pure life as children of light is possible only through the power of the Holy Spirit. Without the works of the Holy Spirit, our effort to be children of God becomes futile. Thus, Apostle Paul encourages all Christians who try to imitate God in their daily lives, saying in the book of Ephesians: “Be filled with the Spirit!” But, what does being filling with the Holy Spirit mean? We have heard this phrase in the church a lot, but how do you understand it? Also, what is the way to fill ourselves with the Holy Spirit? Through today’s worship service, I invite you all to think about the meaning of being filled with the Spirit and its ways.
