Sunday, February 2nd: Love Never Ends: Hold Firmly
We step into something new, like the disciples Simon, James and John did, and at first, everything is exciting and filled with joy. But then, things get hard. Just think of the roller coaster of events the disciples experienced. Then Jesus was killed and then Jesus rose and the disciples were expected to be Jesus in the world. The Apostle Paul was also a disciple, calling the church in Corinth, and calling us today, to hold firmly to our faith. Despite our struggles, Jesus “rose.” Despite our struggles, Jesus is the living Lord. Despite our struggles, we need to hold firmly to this truth: “Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again!”
