To be honest with you, I’ve never thought of God’s love this way before. All of the other descriptors, yes: Redemptive, Compassionate, Steadfast, but not Enriching. When I think of Enriching, what comes to my mind is this: The thing that’s being “enriched,” or the action of “enriching,” means that the item is still itself, only better, richer, fuller, “more.” When this concept is applied to people being filled with God’s Enriching love, it means that we become “more” like Jesus, without anything being taken away, except maybe the things that make us “less” than what we should be! You’ve invited to participate in worship this Sunday and experience God’s Enriching Love.
