The week, we’re focusing on the holy nature of God’s love. The Prophet Isaiah had the ultimate experience of holiness – he was in the presence of God and God’s servants, and during this experience, Isaiah was cleansed of his sin, and answered a call from God to a life of service, as a prophet. And in Jesus’ prayer for his disciples, found in Chapter 17 of the Gospel of John, we know that Jesus is connected to God the Father, and his connection makes a bridge for us to also be connected to the holiness of God. Jesus’ holy love challenges us, cleanses us, and then calls us to a life of service and love. In this, God’s love is shown!
